# Create and manage script templates

Add, edit, order, validate, and remove message templates in a script.

Templates are the ordered message steps inside a script. Select a creator, open CRM > Scripts, and choose a script. You need the Manage templates permission to create or change its templates.

## Add a template

1.  Select the script and choose Add template.
    
2.  Enter a Template Name.
    
3.  Under Message, either write the message yourself or turn on AI Mode after attaching media. A manually written template needs text; AI Mode needs at least one media item.
    
4.  Open Medias to attach and order media. Add Follow-up Messages and Creator Tags when those controls are available and useful.
    
5.  Open Pricing and keep the template Free or configure a paid price.
    
6.  Choose Create Template.
    

## Validate media and pricing

-   A paid template needs at least one paid media item that is not marked as preview.
    
-   Preview media can only be used in a paid template that also contains paid media.
    
-   Creator Tags and preview controls appear only where the connected platform supports them.
    
-   The editor allows up to 40 media items in the template's main message, but platform limits can be lower. For MYM, use no more than 5 media items in the main message and no more than 5 in each follow-up message. Saving is rejected if any message exceeds that platform limit.
    

## Add follow-up messages

A follow-up can contain text or media and a wait time. Completely empty follow-up rows are not saved. Review each configured follow-up before saving the template.

## Edit, reorder, or delete templates

-   Open a template card to edit its content, media, follow-ups, tags, or pricing.
    
-   Drag template cards to change their order in the script.
    
-   Choose Delete and confirm to permanently remove a template.
    

## Start from the Template Library

When Browse Template Library is visible, you can use it to add a starter script structure. Review every step, attach your own media, and confirm the script is complete before enabling it.
