# Install the Substy app

Install Substy from the top navigation or add it to an iPhone or iPad Home Screen.

When installation is available, Install App appears in the three-dot menu in Substy's top navigation. The installed experience opens Substy separately without changing your account.

## Install from the Substy menu

1.  Open the three-dot menu in the top navigation.
    
2.  Choose Install App.
    
3.  Follow the installation prompt shown by your browser.
    

## Install on iPhone or iPad

1.  Open the browser's Share menu.
    
2.  Choose Add to Home Screen and follow the device prompt.
    

## If Install App is missing

-   Substy may already be running as an installed app. The menu item is hidden in that state.
    
-   Your browser may not currently be offering installation. Check its own install options.
    
-   Reload Substy, then check the three-dot menu again.
    

Installation prompts can differ by browser and device. Follow the controls shown on your current device.
