# Manage wallet balance and low-balance alerts

Monitor your wallet, configure low-balance email alerts, add credits, and understand balance-related AI recovery.

Use Billing Overview to monitor the organization wallet, add credits manually, and configure an optional low-balance email alert.

## Check your wallet

Open Billing and stay on Overview. Available Balance shows the wallet used for creator subscriptions and AI commission usage.

## Add credits manually

1.  Make sure you have Top up billing wallet access.
    
2.  On Overview, select Add Credits.
    
3.  Choose Card or Crypto and complete the form.
    

## Configure a low-balance alert

1.  Make sure you have Manage billing access, then select Notifications on Overview.
    
2.  Turn Low balance alerts on or off.
    
3.  When alerts are on, enter a non-negative Threshold and save. The low-balance check includes balances at or below that amount. Notifications depend on the applicable preferences, and repeat alerts are suppressed; do not expect an email after every balance change.
    

## Automatic top-up settings

Overview also includes Automatic top-up, with a threshold, top-up amount, and saved-card selection. Review the settings and authorization before enabling it. Continue monitoring your balance and payment status; a configured rule is not confirmation of a completed payment.

## What happens at a non-positive balance

If the wallet becomes zero or negative, Substy pauses AI for creators whose AI was enabled. After a completed Card or Crypto payment through Add Credits returns the wallet to a positive balance, Substy re-enables only creators it paused for that balance condition.

## Refresh the displayed balance

If an Add Credits payment has completed but Available Balance has not refreshed, use the refresh control on Overview.
