# Understand Substy notifications

Understand the difference between personal settings, agency settings, and the Messages notification feed.

Substy separates notification settings from the activity feed in Messages. Use the right area for what you want to do.

## Choose the right notification area

-   Personal settings: Open the top-level Notifications page to choose your own In-App, Telegram, or Email settings.
    
-   Agency settings: Open the top-level Notifications page to manage the Discord or Telegram options available to your agency.
    
-   Activity feed: Select a creator, open Messages, and use the Notifications bell in the conversation sidebar to review that creator’s feed. The feed supports OnlyFans, Fanvue, and MYM, with platform-dependent categories.
    

## Why options may differ

The events and controls you can use depend on your access, plan, selected creator, platform, and whether the channel is connected.
