# What AI Chatter can do

Understand AI Chatter modes, scripts, scheduling, and the requirements to enable AI for a creator.

AI Chatter can run conversations with scripts, upsells, and follow-ups, or leave replies with your team. Open AI → AI Chatter and configure the selected creator in AI Core Settings.

## Choose how conversations are handled

-   Manual only: you or your chatters handle replies.
    
-   Full AI Mode: AI Chatter can run the conversation using scripts, upsells, and follow-ups.
    
-   Hybrid Mode: AI Chatter chats first, then hands replies to your team when the configured spend or subscription rules are met. Hybrid Mode requires Elite.
    

## Prepare the conversation setup

-   Scripts and templates provide the messages, media, prices, and follow-ups available to AI Chatter.
    
-   AI Persona controls the selected creator's communication style.
    
-   Custom Schedule limits AI replies to configured shifts. If no shifts are configured, AI Chatter does not chat.
    

## Check the requirements before enabling AI

For the selected creator, confirm that you have:

-   Complete creator information.
    
-   Available funds.
    
-   At least one eligible AI script.

For first-time activation, also finish connecting the creator, including any required two-factor verification, and complete the AI Playground test. Resolve any readiness warnings about the content pack's PPV total, paid-step media, or the creator's plan or trial eligibility.

These first-activation checks are separate from the General page's profile, funds, and eligible-script requirements. Creators previously enabled do not have to repeat the first-activation readiness process simply to re-enable AI.
