Reconnect a disconnected creator account

When a creator account needs to be reconnected, use the warning shown for that creator or open Creators > Management. Reconnection requires permission to manage the creator, not just permission to view a page. This includes starting a Fanvue reconnection.

Reconnect from the warning banner

1. Select the affected creator.

2. In the amber We lost connection with your creator account banner, select Click here to reconnect.

3. Follow the connection or verification prompts shown for that account.

4. Confirm that the warning clears after the connection succeeds.

Reconnect from Creator Management

1. Open Creators > Management.

2. Find the creator marked as Pending or requiring attention.

3. Select Reconnect. If Verify 2FA appears instead, use that verification action.

4. Follow the prompts shown, then confirm that the Pending or attention state clears.

If you cannot reconnect

• If Reconnect is missing or access is denied, ask an owner or administrator to check your creator management permission and access to the affected creator.

• If a verification action appears, complete the exact prompts shown for the creator account. Do not disable account security to reconnect.

• If the warning or Pending state remains after you complete the prompts, note the message shown and contact Substy support.
