How Solo Bundles work with Scripts

Understand when Scripts stay primary, when Solo Bundles are considered, and what makes a bundle eligible.

Scripts are normally Substy's primary selling path. Solo Bundles give Substy another eligible PPV option when a direct content bundle is a better fit for a fan.

When Substy can use Solo Bundles

Substy can consider Solo Bundles when:

  • two completed Script sequences included offers but no purchases for that fan;

  • no suitable Script is available for the fan;

  • the fan directly asks for a type of content that matches an eligible Solo Bundle.

Scripts still stay primary when they are the best available fit. Solo Bundles do not replace Scripts globally, and they are not sent randomly.

A conversation that ends before any PPV offer does not count as a failed Script sale for this switch.

What makes a Solo Bundle eligible

For the normal paid Solo Bundle path, a bundle should:

Selected Paid media item in a Solo Bundle, highlighted by a red box and arrow.

  • be Enabled;

  • contain media;

  • not be marked Giftable;

  • have at least one tag across its media; descriptive context alone does not satisfy this eligibility check;

  • not already have been bought by that fan;

  • contain no media identified as already received by the fan.

If no eligible Solo Bundle is available, Substy can continue with an eligible Script instead.

How direct requests are handled

When a fan clearly asks for a type of content and an eligible Solo Bundle matches that request, Substy can prioritize matching content. If there is no suitable match, Substy should not force unrelated content into that request.

The exact offer can still depend on availability, fan preferences, prior purchases, and the current conversation state.

Giftable bundles

Giftable bundles are not part of the normal paid Solo Bundle ladder. Use Giftable when the bundle should be available as a free gift or deal sweetener rather than as a standard paid PPV offer.
